How to switch mobile service and keep your number
Prepare the account information and timing needed for a smoother mobile-number transfer.

Do not cancel the existing service before the number transfer finishes. The number normally must remain active for the previous carrier to release it.
Continue using the old service until Aelixar reports that the provider has completed the transfer.

Collect the exact transfer details
USA transfers require the mobile number, the account number held by the current carrier, and a transfer PIN. The transfer PIN may differ from an account login password.
Names, ZIP codes, or account details that do not match the current carrier record can delay or reject the request.

Submit through the protected journey
