Identify the exact model

A product family name is not always enough because regional and carrier variants can differ. Check the model identifier in the device settings or original purchase record.

Use the Aelixar device check with the information requested for the USA market.

  • Find the model identifier
  • Use the device checker
  • Do not rely on appearance alone
02

Confirm that the phone is unlocked

A technically compatible phone may still reject another service when it is locked to a previous carrier. Review the carrier-lock status in settings or contact the current carrier.

Complete any unlock process before starting the number transfer.

  • Check carrier lock
  • Finish outstanding unlock requirements
  • Restart after an approved unlock
03

Prepare for installation

Keep Wi-Fi available and do not delete an active SIM profile until the replacement service is confirmed. Follow the installation steps delivered for the order.

Contact support rather than repeatedly scanning a QR code if installation does not complete.

  • Use a stable internet connection
  • Protect the QR code
  • Keep existing service until ready
